Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) in Mumbai, Maharashtra has invited applications for admission to the External PhD programme (Development Studies), offered in the session commencing from August 2010.

N / A (Candidates have to apply with all the documents mentioned below. Based on these, short listed candidates will be called for the interview around the first week of July 2010)
 
How to Apply
Interested candidates are requested to apply along with a the following list of  essential documents and a DD of Rs 200 (non-refundable) payable to Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) at Mumbai to the “Admissions Office, IGIDR, Gen. A.K. Vaidya Marg, Santosh Nagar, Goregaon (East), Mumbai 400 065 (email:soffice@igidr.ac.in)” on or before the last date mentioned. For more details about the application and admission procedure applicants are requested to visit the aforementioned website: http://www.igidr.ac.in/
 
List of the Essential Enclosures
  • Applicant’s current curriculum vitae.
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • Two reference letters (in sealed envelopes and on official letterheads of the issuing authority)
  • No objection Certificate along with leave authorization on the official letterhead of the Organization duly signed by the authorized official of the Organization.
  • A self certified original research proposal not exceeding 3000 words, research publications (if any). 
Note: Payment in any other form will not be accepted. Application envelopes have to be marked as “Application for External Ph.D. Program”.
