Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited applications from motivated candidates for Indian Institute of Astrophysics Screening Test 2011, popularly known as IIAST. IIAST will be held on the date mentioned below for admission into various academic programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions to these programmes will be made on the basis of IIAST followed by an interview. Candidates qualified in Physics subject in JEST scoring 96% marks and above, and/or Physics subject in GATE scoring 96% marks and above, and/or UGC-CSIR-NET for Junior Research Fellowship will be exempted from the screening test.
