Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi has invited applications for admission into the following category of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes (for admission on direct and entrance test basis), to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2010.
Category ‘A’ – (Through Entrance Exam) – M Phil /PhD, Pre-PhD /PhD, M Tech/PhD and M Phil /PhD, M A, M Sc, MCA and B A (Hons) in Foreign Languages
Category ‘B’ – Direct Admission to PhD programme in all Schools except School of Life Sciences either on the basis of viva-voce or written examination and viva-voce as many as decided by the university
Category ‘C’ – M Phil / Pre-PhD / PhD in Science Schools except Molecular Medicine (Only JRF Holders) either on the basis of viva-vice or written examination and viva-voce both as may be decided by the university

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus by post by sending a postal request along with a crossed DD of Rs 300 drawn in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi, along with a self address (unstamped) envelop of the size 30 cm X 25 cms. Clearly indicating the category for which the application form is required on the self addressed envelop to the Selection Officer (Admission), Room No 28, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi – 110067. Application form and prospectus can be obtained in person from the Counter in the Administrative Block of the University against a cash payment of Rs 200 per set from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on all working days. BPL card holders will be issued a set of application form and prospectus free of cost on the submission of a copy of the BPL card issued by competent authority showing their name in the card.
