Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2010 is being conducted under the supervision of Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) for both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates for admission into full time and part time, ME /M Tech./ M Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses offered by University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore, Bangalore University; University BDT (UBDT) College of Engineering, Davangere University, Davanagere; Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Mathematics and Computer Science, Kuvempu University, Shimoga; Department of studies in Computer Science, University of Mysore, Mysore; and PG Departments, Regional Centres & Extension Centres of VTU & institutions affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), for the upcoming session 2010-2011.

July 18, 2010 (Sunday) (Candidates with GATE score are exempted from appearing the written entrance test)
Test Centers
For NON-GATE candidates only: Written test will be conducted on July 18, 2010 (Sunday) from i) 11.00 am to 1.00 pm for VTU, UBDTCE and UVCE M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./MBA(Infrastructure Mgmt.) courses and ii) 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, for PG Department of Kuvempu University and University of Mysore M.Tech courses, at various centers as specified in the brochure

How to Apply
Interested candidates must download the blank application form from www.vtu.ac.in or http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in and take a print out of the same on an A4 size paper only. Thereafter, the duly filled downloaded application from must be send to the PGCET Cell, either in person or may send by post / courieralong with following list of essential enclosures.
· One set of attested photocopies (attested by the gazette officer) of all the relevant documents. Original Documents need not be sent along with the completed application form)
· A DD of Rs 600 (Rs 300 only for Karnataka SC/ST & Cat- I, on production of documentary proof) drawn in favor of Member Secretary CPAC, payable at Belgaum.
· A self addressed envelope of size 12” x 10” (without affixing any postal stamp) for dispatching the Brochure.
