Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) 2010

LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthpuram (Kerala) has announced Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) 2010. LBS Centre for Science and Technology conducts this entrance test at all the District Head Quarters in Kerala. The institute, which started functioning in 1976, is governed and run by the Government of Kerala. The entrance test is conducted for the recruitment of highersecondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers.
 
Kerala SET exam consists of two papers, each for the duration of 120 minutes. Paper I of the exam consists of questions testing the general knowledge (Part A) and aptitude in teaching (Part B), while Paper II consists of questions from the subject, which is the specialization of the candidate. The candidate is given with the choice of the subjects (for Paper II), mentioned below.

How to apply
For those candidates, who are residing in the state of Kerala, applications forms are not available by post. The candidates residing outside the state can collect application form and prospectus by post. For that, they must have paid fee only through DD of Rs.550/- for general category candidates and Rs.300/- for SC/ ST candidates that drawn in favour of the Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
 
The application form should be fully filled with a recent passport size photograph of the applicant and must sent to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Extra Police Road, Nandavanam, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram through registered post or can be handed over in person at the LBS Headquarters.
