Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the date of conducting the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) for 2010. The exam is meant for selecting the deserving candidates for admission into Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for 126th Course and Naval Academy for 88th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), which is suppose to be initiating from 30th June of 2011.
Candidates having single marital status and born not before than 2nd July, 1992 and not after 1st January, 1995 are eligible provided they fulfill the physical fitness criteria, lay down by the conducting authority and the below mentioned educational qualification.
Educational Qualification
The basic educational qualification is a pass in intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination, conducted by any recognized State Education Board or a University is required.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course of Naval Academy a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by any recognized State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of study is mandatory. Those, who are appearing or are waiting for result, can also apply.
Fee
A sum of Rs.50/- has to be paid by the candidates, who are applying Offline (through Common Application Form). The money can only be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. Exemption of Rs. 25/- is there for the candidates, who are applying Online. They can pay Rs. 25/- in cash at any Branch of SBI or can use the facility of net banking. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are relaxed from payment of Fee.
How To Apply
The candidates, who desire to seek admission, can obtain application form in person from the selected Head Post Offices / Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) across the country on a cash payment of Rs.20/-.
Each form is confined for a single use, only for one examination. The application form can be filled by login to link http://www.upsconline.nic.in.
The duly filled application forms have to be submitted at Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi — 110069 either by hand or by Post/ Speed Post or by Courier.

Last date for submission of all offline applications (For Candidates of Remote Areas or residing Abroad): 26th April, 2010
Last date for submission of all online applications: 12th April, 2010 till 11.59 PM
