National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications for admission into Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) and Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development (PGDSRD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admission to PGDRDM programme will be made on the basis of All India Entrance Test, to be held on the date mentioned below followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

How to Apply
For PGDRDM programme
Interested candidates can download the application form from the institute's official website: http://www.nird.org.in/. One can obtain the prospectus-cum-application form from the Admissions Coordinator, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS), NIRD, Hyderabad free of cost. Application forms are also available at NIRD - NERC office at Khanapara, Guwahati and at the Eastern Regional Centre of NIRD at Patna and at the NIRD centre at Jaipur (address of these centers are available at the institute's aforementioned website). Applicant can obtain the same through post by sending a request accompanied by self addressed stamped (Rs 13) envelope of size 12” * 10” by December 15, 2010. The duly filled application forms should be submitted along with the application fee of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC/ST and PWD candidates) and US $ 75 for international candidates through an Account Payee DD drawn in favor of NIRD, payable at Hyderabad to the Admissions Coordinator, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS), National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030, Andhra Pradesh, India. The international students should use the Swift Code: SBHYINBB052. A/c Number: 62052905893 for sending application fee of US $ 75. For PGDSRD programme
Interested candidates can download the application form from the institute's official website: http://www.nird.org.in/. The downloaded application form should be submitted along with draft of application fee. One can obtain the application form and information brochure in person from the Programme Coordinator, PGD-SRD, Distance Education Cell, NIRD, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030 (AP), India on payment of Rs 500 (Rs 300 for SC/ST/PH candidates) through a DD drawn in favor of National Institute of Rural Development payable at Hyderabad. Applicant can obtain the same through post by sending a request accompanied by self addressed stamped envelope of size 12” * 10 “ by November 15, 2010.
