School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) in New Delhi has invited applications for admission into full time and part time PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, offered in the upcoming session 2010-11. Admission to the PhD Programmes shall be held twice in a year i.e. August and January into the following fields.
PhD - Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, Industrial Design, Architectural Conservation, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Housing, Transport Planning, Building Engineering & Management.

To get details about obtaining the application form applicants are requested to visit the website: http://www.spa.ac.in/. Thereafter, the duly filled application form must be submitted along with the essentials enclosures (Photo copies of certificates of Educational qualifications, degrees, mark sheets etc)and a DD of750 drawn in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, payable at New Delhi. For knowing more about the admission and application procedure applicants are required to visit the aforementioned website. The applicant shall state and submit the following with application:
a) Proposed Department of Study
b) Broad area of research: nature, objectives and scope of the subject, and tentative title.
c) Other particulars that the applicant may like to furnish regarding the choice of the subject and its importance for research; and
d)Name of the Advisor of his/her choice, if any.
Note: Applications for the PhD Programme are accepted throughout the year.
