UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam 2011

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi, has issued the notification for Combined Medical Services Exam, to be conducted in the ensuing session 2011. The exam will be conducted on the date mentioned below, for recruitment to the following services and posts. The exam is conducted by UPSC in accordance with the rules published by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Department of Health) in the Gazette of India.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website: http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can apply offline in the common application form devised by the commission, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices, against cash payment of Rs 20. Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination. Candidates applying online are required to pay a fee of Rs 50 either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. Candidates applying offline are required to pay a fee of Rs 100 through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. Candidates residing abroad should deposit the prescribed fee in the office of India's High Commissioner, Ambassador or representative abroad and attach the receipt with the application. Note: All female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are exempted from payment of fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates.
