AFCAT 01/2012

Indian Air Force (IAF), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible men and women candidates for Air Force Common Aptitude Test 01/2012, popularly known as AFCAT. AFCAT is an entrance test conducted by Indian Air Force for admission into the following Permanent / Short Service Commission courses, commencing from January 2013 / July 2013. Admission is offered on the basis of entrance test, scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below, followed by intelligence test, psychological test, group test, interview and Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT), to be conducted at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).

How to Apply
Interested candidates may download and print the application form from the official website of Indian Air Force: http://www.careerairforce.nic.in/. The duly filled in application form along with requisite enclosures (list given on the website) should be submitted to the address of First Choice of Centre for AFCAT 01/2012 (list of centers with the address given on the website) on or before January 13, 2012. In addition, one can also send a typed or hand written (in Block Capitals) application, as per the format given on the website, on an A4 size paper. The envelope should be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST: 26 FEBRUARY 2012” in which application would be sent. Note: Candidates who have failed the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy are not eligible to apply.
