Online applications are invited from eligible candidates to register for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), to be held in January 2012. APTET is being conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, in order to select eligible candidates who intend to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in schools in Andhra Pradesh.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online only by logging into the website: http://aptet.cgg.gov.in/. The application fee is Rs 300 which can be paid through APONLINE or e-Seva (from October 30, 2011 to November 25, 2011). Details for fee payment options are given on the website. After submission of fee, the candidates will be issued a Journal number which should be used to fill the online application form. The last date of submission of application form is November 26, 2011. Candidates must note that they need not send the printout of the application form.
