Anna University of Technology (AUT), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Full Time or Part Time PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) in the following disciplines, offered in the ensuing session commencing from July 2011.
Disciplines:
- PhD Degree in Engineering/ Technology
- PhD Degree in Science and Humanities
- PhD Degree in Management Sciences
- PhD Degree in Architecture and Planning
Note: 1. Two categories of Ph.D. programme available are: Full-time and Part-time (Internal / External).
2. Full time (Internal) & Part time (Internal) - Candidates from University Departments.
3. Full time (External) & Part time (External) - Candidates from Affiliated colleges, Autonomous institutions, Polytechnic Colleges and Employees of Approved Research Centres.

Note: 1. Interview of the selected candidates is scheduled to be held in the First / Second week of June 2011(Tentatively)
2. Candidates qualified in NET/SLET/other National Level Eligibility Test are exempted from written test and they have to appear for the interview only.
3. Under Various Faculties of AUT only from Non – Stipendiary candidates belonging to the University Departments, Affiliated & Autonomous Institutions, Polytechnic Colleges under our jurisdiction and the employees of Approved Research Centres of this university for July 2011 session. How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form and other related documents from the University’s official website: http://www.autcbe.ac.in/ and fill in the details. The application fee is Rs 750 (For SC/ST candidates Rs 375) which is to be paid in the form of challan through SBI, payable to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore (Account No: 30663350414).
Duly filled in application should be sent with the original copy of Bank Challan and other requisite documents. List of requisite documents needed to be enclosed Completed application form with all enclosures securely stitched to it should be sent to “The Director, Centre for Research, Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, Jothipuram Post, Veerapandi pirivu, Coimbatore – 641 047” latest by April 27, 2011 (until 5:00pm).
Note: Incomplete Applications and applications without proof of documents for Qualification will not be considered and no correspondence will be made in this regard.
