Banaras Hindu University (BHU) located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, has issued the notification for admission into three years long Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme in the following disciplines, offered in its affiliated Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), for the upcoming academic session commencing from August 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application from as well as the information leaflets from the BHU websites: www.bhu.ac.in & www.imsbhu.nic.in. The same can also be obtain from the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU Varanasi on the submission of a MICR DD of Rs 100 drawn in favour of the “Director, Institute of Medical Sciences” payable at Varanasi. The DD should be send along with a request letter and a self addressed envelop (25cm X 16cm) clearly mentioning course applied for, candidate’s full address and contact number. The envelope must be headed as “Request for Application Form for MDS August 2011”. The issue of Application by post is available till May 9, 2011 and in person until May 16, 2011.
The requisite documents needed to be enclosed along the form are the attested copies of the entire mark sheets/certificates/degrees/registration number certificate and other documents (from High School to BDS). The completed application form in all respects including self attested photographs, thumb impression and required documents should accompany by a MICR DD of Rs 2000 (examination fee) drawn in the favor of Director, IMS, BHU payable at Varanasi. Then the duly filled application form should be sent to the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi- 221005 latest by May 23, 2011 (5.00 pm).
