The provisional selection will be based on candidate's total percentile in CAT 2010, provided he/she also attains a certain minimum verbal percentile in CAT 2010.
Note: Tentative dates of counseling are 20 to 25 May, 2011 & the counseling schedules to be displayed by: 19 May, 2011.
Note: The institute will not use Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) in the selection process. However, candidates must meet the minimum academic requirements.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online on institute’s official website: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in/. Candidates can fill in the necessary details online and then take printout of this filled form. The requisite documents needed to be enclosed along with the form are the photocopies of mark sheets/certificates of 10th, 12th, graduation (Mark sheets up to pre-final year for candidates graduating in 2011), print out as received by e-mail of Admit Card of CAT-2010 and print out of the Score Card of CAT-2010. Two recent color photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip on the form) should also be sent along. In order to complete the application, a DD of Rs 1600 has to be enclosed with the form.
The DD should be drawn in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” payable at Ranchi. The duly filled application form along with the DD, photographs and requisite enclosures should be sent in a stout A4 size envelope by Speed post/ Registered Post/ reliable courier only. The application envelope heading ”Application for MBA 2011” should be sent to the office of Dean Admissions, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi- 835215 latest by May 6, 2011.
