Calcutta University Certificate Course in Chinese Language 2011 Admission

University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies and The School of Chinese Language have jointly invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into certificate course in Chinese Language, also referred to as Basic Applied Chinese Language Course-(ZhongwenJichuShiyongKecheng)], offered in the upcoming session 2011. Selection will be made strictly on stated criteria, merit and on first come first served basis.

How to apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application forms from The School of Chinese Language at 11/1 Sunny Park, Kolkata 700019, between Tuesday and Friday (except holidays) from 11 am to 3 pm on payment of Rs 250 (for General Candidates) and Rs 100 (for SC/ST/PH Candidates). One can also download the application forms from any of the following websites: www.caluniv.ac.in; www.makaias.gov.in; www.zhongwen.in.
 
In the case of downloaded form, candidates must attach a DD/pay order of abovementioned applicable amount drawn in favour of “The School of Chinese Language”, payable at Kolkata or by Cash. The duly filled in as well as completed application forms along with DD/Pay Order (whichever applicable) and requisite enclosure documents (list given in the websites) should be submitted to the office of The School latest by September 7, 2011. For more details regarding admission and application procedures candidates are requested to visit any of the abovementioned websites.
