A K Choudhury School of Information Technology, affiliated to University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into three-year Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admission will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the admission test to be conducted by the University and his/her academic records.

How to apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online (only) by logging into the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. However, for online application, candidates must logon to the direct link: http://www.caluniv-ucsta.net/. The application fee structure is as follows:
Online Application Fee: Rs. 50 (for General candidate) and Rs. 25 (for SC/ST/PH candidate)
Admission Test Fee: Rs. 100 (for General Candidate) and Rs. 50 (for SC/ST/PH candidate)
The cash/DD deposit challan will be generated after online submission of application. However, the application fee and admission test fee should be deposited by Bank DD drawn in favour of “Calcutta University” payable at Kolkata or by cash at CU CASH COUNTER at Rajabazar Science College Campus.
After submitting the online application form, one must take the printout of the same. The duly signed hardcopy (printout) of the form, along with the DD/Challan/Deposit slip (whichever applicable) and requisite enclosure documents (list given on the website), should be submitted to the office of the Secretary, 92, Acharyya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata - 700 009, Rajabazar Science College Campus, latest by October 20, 2011 (11.00 am to 2.30 pm on all working days).
