Calcutta University, Department of Botany, Kolkata (West Bengal), has invited applications for admissions into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Botany programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions will be made on the basis of an entrance test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below followed by an interview, to be held on April 14, 2011. NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship qualified candidates or candidates having M Phil/M Tech/M Pharm degree need not appear for the test.
