Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Hindi, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions are done on the basis of an entrance test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below. Final selection of the candidates into PhD programme will be made on the basis of their performance in the entrance test followed by an interview, to be held on April 5, 2011, at 12.00 noon. JRF/NET/SET qualified candidates or candidates who have passed M Phil are exempted from the test.
