The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) would declare the result of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2010, today i.e. January 12, 2011. Candidates can check the result by visiting the official website: http://www.catiim.in/, once declared. CAT 2010 was conducted in online mode from October 27, 2010 to November 24, 2010.
An American based testing firm namely Prometric conducted the test successfully this year. Nearly two lakh candidates have registered for CAT 2010, out of which, around 19931 candidates who took the test were from Delhi. The test was conducted in two separate sessions each day i.e. morning session and afternoon session.
CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) for those candidates who want to pursue Postgraduate (PG) level management degree from world renowned IIMs. Many B-Schools accept the scores of Common Admission Test (CAT) for enrolling students in their PG courses in the field of management.
