Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from highly scholastic candidates for admission into several Research Scholar Programs for extensive research in the following inter-disciplinary areas of modern molecular and cellular biology, to be offered in the upcoming session 2011.
Inter-disciplinary Areas:
- Genetics
- Molecular and Cellular Biology
- Molecular Pathogenesis
- Computational and Structural Biology
Note:
- Candidates are required to clear CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, ICAR NET, JRF, GATE or JEST to apply for the abovementioned courses. MBBS candidates are exempted from appearing in any of the mentioned entrance examinations.
- Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of a 2 tier system, including a written/LAN based exam, followed by personal interview.
- Candidates who have cleared JRF Fellowship examination before commencement of CDFD written/LAN based exam and have qualified NET with Fellowship are also eligible to apply for CDFD exam under the “Spot Registration” category.

One can also send his/her application on plain paper according to the format mentioned on the website.
