The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following professional programmes, offered in the upcoming session 2011.
Courses Offered:
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) - 4½ years + 1 year internship
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) - 4½ years + 1 year internship
- BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)- 5 years (No internship)
- B V Sc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) - 4½ years + 6 months internship
- B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) - 4 years
- BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) - 4 years + 6 months internship
- B Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)- 4 years
- B Sc (Nursing)- 4 years
- B Sc (MLT) - 3 years
Note: Candidates from other state appeared for AIEEE are alone eligible to apply for B Tech courses.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application forms in person from the Pondicherry Engineering College Co-operative Credit Society (Office located in the Administrative Block, PEC) on all working days on payment of Rs 550 (Rs 275 for SC/ST candidates) and also from the following Post Offices :
Post Offices:
Puducherry: Head Post Office, Ariyankuppam, Bahour, Kandamangalam, Lawspet, Mudaliarpet, Muthialpet, Nettapakkam, Pallinelliyanur, Thirukanur and Villianur.
Karaikal: Head Post Office, Ambakarathur, Nedunkadu, Neravy, Thirunallar and
Mahe & Yanam Post Offices.
Application forms can also be obtained through post by sending a requisition to 'The Convenor' CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College Campus, Puducherry- 605 014, along with two self-addressed slips (neatly typed or hand written) and a crossed DD for Rs 565 (Rs 315 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of “The Convenor, CENTAC”, payable at Puducherry. Candidates can apply through online submission of form by logging on to the official website of CENTAC: http://www.centacprof.net.in/. The duly filled in application form should be submitted latest by last date mentioned below. For more information regarding application and admission procedures, candidates are requested to visit the abovementioned website.
Note: 1. Payment by cheques, postal orders and money orders will not be accepted.
