CSIR- National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the spring session 2012. The candidates would need to pursue research in frontier areas of earth sciences leading to PhD degree. The projects offered for thesis would be from various branches of geophysics, geology, geochemistry and geochronology.
