The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, has invited applications for UGC National Eligibility Test June 2011, popularly known as CSIR-UGC NET. The CSIR-UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science.

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website: http://www.csirhrdg.res.in/. Candidates must follow the instructions carefully while filing the online application form. After filling the online application form, candidates must take the print out of the same and send it along with all the required documents to Senior Controller of Examinations, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012. Candidates can obtain the information bulletin and application from in person from branches of various banks (list available at: http://www.csirhrdg.res.in/net_notify_june2011.pdf) by paying Rs 400 (Rs 200 for OBC & Rs 100 for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates). One can also obtain the same through post from Indian Bank 3/1, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi - 110 008 by sending a crossed DD of Rs 400, 200 or 100 (as applicable) drawn in favor of Indian Bank, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
