Note:  1. In case of Two-Year MA, M Sc and Five-Year MA integrated programmes, the candidates will be selected for admission as per the merit-lists prepared on the basis of Entrance Examinations only.
 
2. In case of M Phil/ Ph.D. programmes, the candidates will be selected for admission as per the merit list prepared on the basis of entrance and viva-voce examinations.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus either by post or by downloading it from the university’s official website: www.cug.ac.in. To obtain application form and prospectus from post, a requisition for the same and Rs 150 (Rs 50 for SC/ST and free for Below Poverty Line (BPL) candidates/ Differently Abled (PH Category)/ wards of the Kashmiri Migrants) is to paid in the form of DD. The DD should be drawn from any nationalized bank in the favour of “Central University of Gujarat, payable at “Central Bank of India” payable at Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad only.
 
However, one can also get the application form and prospectus in person from the university counter against a payment of Rs 100 (Free of cost for SC/ST/PH/BPL card holders/ wards of Kashmiri Migrants). Entrance examination fee structure is given in the prospectus which has to be paid in the form of DD, drawn in the above mentioned format. The duly filled application form along with the DD and necessary enclosures is to be sent to “Admissions Branch, Central University of Gujarat, Sector-30, Gandhinagar– 382 030” latest by May 14, 2011. To get more details about application and admission procedures, candidates are requested to visit university’s aforementioned official website.
 
Note: Admit card for the exam will be issued on the official website by May 20. 2011. Candidates are advised to visit university’s website regularly for latest updates.
