Dibrugarh University, located in Dibrugarh (Assam), has invited applications for the admission of the candidates in its six-month Pre-Registration Course Work of thePhD and M Phil programmes, to be pursued in the upcoming session 2011. The candidates, who have passed post graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, can apply for these programmes. The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination, ranks in DURAT/NET/SET(SLET)/GATE exam and performance in the interview. The session will start from February 7, 2011.

How to Apply
The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the University - www.dibru.ac.in. The candidates can also obtain application form from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs 100 only at the University Cash Counter. Those, who want to request for supply of forms by post, have to be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped (of Rs 30) envelope along with a Bank Draft of Rs 100 drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Dibrugarh University” in State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch. The completed application form should be submitted to the Heads/ Directors of the departments/ centre for studies concerned, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-786 004 before the last date, which is mentioned below.
