GITAM Institute of Technology, GITAM University, Andhra Pradesh, has published the date of GITAM Admission Test 2012, popularly known as GAT. GAT is a computer based online exam/test, conducted for admission into the following undergraduate, post graduate, and integrated dual degree programmes, offered at its Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad Campuses.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can register their candidature online by visiting GITAM’s official website: http://www.gitam.edu/. One can also log onto the direct link http://solutions.eduquity.com/gitamreg/instructions.aspx. An application fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 600 for female candidates) must be paid in the form of Demand Draft, drawn in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled branches of Union Bank of India and Indian Bank (list given on the website).
After obtaining the DD, candidates must proceed further with the online application. They should write their name and auto-generated application number on the reverse side of the DD. Candidates applying online must take two copies of the printout of the completed application form and send one copy, along with an affixed photograph duly signed and DD, to “Director-Admissions, GITAM UNIVERSITY, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam - 530045, Andhra Pradesh, India” by Registered Post / Speed Post.
Application form and information brochure can also be obtained via post by sending a DD of Rs 1100 (Rs 700 for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank (details given on the website), along with a request letter containing the full mailing address of the candidate. The duly filled in application form, along with the DD, should be submitted to the abovementioned address, latest by the last date of form submission. For further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the aforementioned official website of GITAM University.
Note: Candidates must note that the online registration for GAT-2012 is complete only when the filled in form with the Demand Draft is submitted to Director-Admissions on or before last date of form submission.
