Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV) Haridwar, Uttarakhand has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-12. The candidates shall be selected for PhD registration by two methods that are: (i) Through Research Entrance Test (RET), and (ii) Direct Admission (without appearing in RET).

How to apply
Interested candidates can obtain the brochure and application form from the office of Registrar by paying an application fee of Rs 800 (including postal charges) in cash or through DD issued by any bank in favor of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, payable at Haridwar. (The applicant is advised to write his/her name and name of the main subject/discipline (along with the code no.) on the reverse side of DD.) The same can also be downloaded from the Institute’s official website: http://www.gkvharidwar.org/. However, in that case the application fee (Rs 800) should be paid in the form of DD drawn in the prescribed format. The duly filled in application form along with the DD and other requisite enclosure documents should be submitted latest by October 1, 2011.
