Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) or Haryana Board, Bhiwani, came into existence in 1969 as per Haryana Act No. 11 of 1969. The Board first started its operations with its headquarters in Chandigarh. The headquarters of HBSE Board was later on moved to the current location in Bhiwani, in January 1981.
