University College of Business Studies, affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into three year BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) programme, offered in the ensuing session 2011.

Note: The final selection of candidates for BBA programme will be based on group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) for the course. However, in the case of BCA the selection will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the written test only. There will be no written test for non-subsidized seats.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form as well as the Handbook of Information from the college office against a payment of Rs 400 (for general category), Rs 250 (for SC/ST/Antyodya/IRDP) for subsidized seats and Rs 900 (for General category) for non subsidized seats. One can also get same through post by sending a DD of Rs 450 (for general category), Rs 300 (for SC/ST/Antyodya/IRDP) for subsidized seats and Rs 950 (for general category) for non subsidized seats. The DD should be drawn in the name of “The Director, University college of Business Studies, HP University, Ava-Lodge, Shimla- 171004” payable at Shimla. The duly filled applications must be sent to the college latest by May 16, 2011.
Note: 1.There are 40 subsidized, 20 non subsidized seats and 1 supernumerary for single girl child for BBA course, whereas in the case of BCA, there are 20 subsidized, 20 non-subsidized and 1 supernumerary for single girl child.
2. The applications for BBA and BCA have to be submitted on prescribed performa separately for each seat and course.
3.The College reserves the right to alter date/venue of the entrance test.
