How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the Application Form & Prospectus (M D /M Ch /DM Courses) from the office of the Registrar during office hours on all working days on payment of fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates). The same can be obtained by sending a DD for prescribed fee amount in favour of “DIRECTOR, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna” payable at Patna. The DD should be sent along with a self addressed stamped envelope (25 cm x 10 cm) bearing stamp of Rs 40, to the office of Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sheikhpura, Patna – 800 014.
Application Forms and Prospectus can also be obtained from the office of the Application form can be downloaded from Institute’s official website: www.igims.org. The list of requisite enclosures to be attached along with the form is also given on the website. Duly filled application form in candidate’s own handwriting should be sent to the office of Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sheikhpura, Patna – 800 014 latest by June 10, 2011 by Registered/ /Speed Post/Courier Only.
