Erstwhile known as The International College for Girls (ICG), IIS University was founded in 1995. Under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, ICG had been conferred with a Deemed University status and renamed as IIS by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is also assessed and accredited with an “A” grade certificate by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University conducts various levels of degrees in a wide spectrum of disciplines.
