Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping (IIS&M) Survey of India in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into M Tech (Geomatics) programme, offered in the upcoming session 2011. The course is being conducted in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad.
Date of Exam
Candidates selected for entrance test will be intimated by registered post or email by June 15, 2011. However, entrance exam for private candidates will be conducted by JNTU on July 11, 2011 at 10:00 hrs.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may get the application as well as detailed prospectus in person from Indian Institute of Surveying & Mapping, Survey of India, Uppal, Hyderabad – 500 039 against a payment of Rs 50, during office hours on all working days. However, the same can be obtained through post by sending a requisition along with a DD of Rs 100.
The DD should be drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of “E&AO, IIS&M, Hyderabad” payable at Hyderabad. Candidate must send a self addressed envelope of size 32X26cm along with the requisition letter and DD. The prospectus and application form can also be downloaded free of cost from the following websites: http://www.soisti.ap.nic.in/ & http://www.surveyofindia.gov.in/. The duly filled application form should be submitted to IIS&M latest by May 20, 2011.
