Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum orThiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has invited applications for admission into the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions are done on the basis of a written test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below followed by an interview. The session will be commencing from February 2011. The selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of written test followed by interview.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of IIST: http://www.iist.ac.in. The application fee is Rs 250 (Rs 125 for SC/ST candidates) which is to be paid in the form of DD. The DD should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Duly filled application form along with attested copies of documents (mentioned in the website & downloadable application form) should be sent to The Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valiamala P.O., Thiruvananthapuram – 695547, Kerala, in a sealed envelope with the superscription “Application for IIST PhD Programme – July 2011” latest by June 6, 2011.
