How to apply
Interested candidates can apply online on the institute’s official website: http://www.iitkgp.ac.in/. In order to fill in the online application form, payment of application fee which is Rs 500 (Rs 250 for SC/ST category) has to be made through DD. The DD should be drawn from any national bank in favor of “IIT Kharagpur” payable at Kharagpur. To fill the application form, one has to register with his/her email id and login. Fill in the appropriate information and payment details (DD details) as well.
The candidate must have his/her passport size digital photograph and digital image of signature which is to be uploaded while filling the form. Then take the printout of the completed online application form and attach the DD with supporting documents in an envelope. The duly filled application form along with DD and requisite documents should be sent to “Assistant Registrar (PGS&R), IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur- 721302 (WB)”. Note: Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fees.
