It is an entrance test organized by Indian Maritime University, Chennai, for selecting candidates for admission into the Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) Marine Engineering (4 Years), Bachelor of Science (B Sc) Ship Building & Repair (3 Years) and Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) leading to B Sc Nautical Science (1 Year) programmes, offered in the ensuing session 2011-2012.

Interested candidates can download the application forms, Information brochure & payment challan from university official website: http://www.imu.tn.nic.in/. Form will be send along with the Challan of Rs 800 (General/Others) and DD of Rs 450 (SC/ST/DA), from any of the SBI/Indian Bank branches, drawn in the favor of Indian Maritime University, payable at Chennai to the University.
The application forms along with the information brochure and admission procedure are also available at the selected branches of Indian Bank by paying the amount of Rs 800 (Genral/Others) & Rs 450 (SC/ST) Candidates.
