University of Kashmir, also known as Kashmir University, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, has invited applications from pass outs of the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar and from Research Organizations / Academic Institutes / Industries / Departmental sponsored candidates for admission into PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. The programme is being conducted by the Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and written test, to be conducted by the University.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by logging onto the official website of the University: http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/. One can register online from December 8, 2011 by clicking on the link “M Phil / PhD 2011” on the website. In addition, candidates have to download the auto generated application form and Bank paying slip and take a print out of them. The application fee of Rs 250 should be deposited in the Account No. SB 53049 from any FINACLE operated Branches of J&K Bank. The printout of the auto generated application form, along with the University’s copy of pay-in-slip and relevant certificates, must be submitted in the office of the concerned Department, on or before the below mentioned last date of submission.
