University of Kashmir, also known as Kashmir University, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following departments/subjects/faculties of M Phil (Master of Philosophy) / PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programmes, offered in the upcoming session 2011. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test conducted by the University. The Admission for M Phil / Ph D programme shall be made in accordance with latest statutes of the University.

How to apply
Interested candidates need to apply online only by logging in to the University's official website: http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/. The admission fee is Rs 250 which should be deposited though pay in slip in any finacle enabled branch of J&K Bank, Hazratbal, Srinagar in favour of the Dean, Physical & Material Sciences bearing account no: 53153 or Account number SB -53049 for Department of Electronics, Computer Sciences and Home Science. The auto generated (after online submission) along with the University copy of the pay-in- slip & relevant certificates (details given in the website) should be submitted in the office of the concerned departments latest by August 20, 2011.
