Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGI), Puducherry, has invited applications from eligible Puducherry Domiciles and NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students for admission into various MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) courses, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. The courses are being offered under Puducherry Domiciles quota and NRI/NRI sponsored/Foreign student’s quota in the following specialties. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Postgraduate Dental Entrance Examination 2012, also known as PGDEE.

Interested candidates may obtain the application form along with the Information Bulletin from the office of The Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorimedu, Puducherry - 605006 or SBI Branch, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences campus, Gorimedu, Puducherry, on payment of the below mentioned (whichever applicable).
Cost of Application and Information Bulletin
- For Puducherry Domiciles - General/MBC/OBC Category: In person- Rs 2000, By Post- Rs 2050, SC/ST Category- In person- Rs 600, By post- Rs 650
- For NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students: In person- Rs 4000 or equivalent in US dollars, By post- Rs 4200 or equivalent in US dollars
Payment can be made in cash or one can enclose a crossed DD drawn on any Nationalized Banks in favour of the Director, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, payable at Puducherry, along with a requisition letter. The prescribed application form can also be downloaded from the Institute’s official website: http://mgpgi.puducherry.gov.in/.
However, the downloaded application should be submitted, along with the prescribed fee (whichever applicable) in the form of DD only in the name of the Director, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, payable at Puducherry. The duly filled in and completed application form along with all the requisite enclosure documents (attested copies of certificates etc) should be sent to the Director, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Gorimedu, Puducherry - 605 006 latest by January 3, 2012 (till 12.30 pm).
