The National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Mumbai, has invited applications from eligible candidates pursuing doctoral programme (PhD) in Mathematics for grant of scholarships, to be given out in the upcoming 2012-13 session. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, followed by interview.

Zone 5: Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad

How to Apply
Aspiring candidates can download the Performa made available on the official website of NBHM: http://www.nbhm.dae.gov.in/. The application must be sent on a plain paper as per the Performa downloaded from the website. Application form, complete in all respect, along with a recent passport-size photograph and a self-addressed envelope affixed with Rs 5 postage stamp, should be sent to the respective zonal coordinators. To know about the addresses of the zonal coordinators, one can visit the abovementioned official website of the institute. The envelope containing the application material must be titled “NBHM PhD Scholarship”. For more details regarding the eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates can visit the aforementioned website.
