a) The short listing of the candidates will be done by NCERT. Short listed candidates will be required to appear for an interview, which may also include presentation of the proposals.
b) TA will be paid to the candidates as per the second (sleeper) class train fare by the shortest route for attending the interview-cum-seminar.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the information brochure as well as the application from the Council’s official website: http://www.ncert.nic.in/ or http://www.ncert.nic.in/announcements/oth_announcements/pdf_files/fellowships.pdf. The application form and information brochure can also be obtained from the council’s office by post as well. The requisite documents needed to be enclosed by the completed application form are the duly attested copies of all mark sheets/ certificates and proof of PhD registration (if already registered).
Another set of documents to be attached with the form is a concept paper of about 1500 words on the theme of the proposed research, which should contain statements about: (a) Rationale and objectives of the study, (b) Conceptual framework, (c) Proposed methodology and (d) Potential contribution of the study. The duly filled form along with all the requisite documents enclosed should be sent to the “Head, Department of Educational Research and Policy Perspectives, National Council of Educational Research and Training, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi- 110016”.
