NISER Bhubaneswar PhD Programme December 2011 Admission

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, Orissa, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, in the following schools of basic sciences, to be offered in the session commencing from December 2011. Candidates will first be short-listed by the selection committee and then the selected candidates will be called for an interview, supplemented by a written test (if necessary), for admission.
 
Note: Candidates must note that all candidates called for the Test / Interview will be paid to and fro single, second-sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to the Institute / venue of the Test /Interview. They have to produce evidence (railway ticket) in support of their claim.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.niser.ac.in/. One can also obtain the application form in person or through post from the Academic Section, NISER Bhubaneswar. While sending the request by post, one must sent along a self-addressed envelope (A4 size, 21 cm X 30 cm) affixed with postage stamps of Rs. 25. The duly filled in application form along with the requisite documents (list given on the website) should be sent to the below given address, latest by November 28, 2011.
