National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following postgraduate (PG) courses in Unani Medicine, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-12. NIUM is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test to be conducted by the Institute.

How to apply
Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.nium.in/. The details of fee (inclusive of bank charges) to be paid by the candidates is as follows:
- For General candidates - Rs. 1025
- For SC/ST Category candidates - Rs. 525
- For OBC (belonging to the creamy layer) candidates - Rs. 1025
- For PH candidates - Rs. 1025
- For GOI Nominee/In-Service candidates - Rs. 1025
The abovementioned fee (whichever applicable) should be paid through challan (can be downloaded from the website or collected from the institute in person) in State Bank of India branches. The duly filled in application form, along with the original bank acknowledge copy of challan and other requisite enclosure documents, should be sent to the office of The Director, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bangalore - 560091, latest by October 25, 2011. The envelope containing the form should be titled “Application for PGET (Unani)”.
