How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.nls.ac.in/. A DD of Rs 1000 drawn in the favour of Registrar, NLSIU payable at Bangalore is to be attached with the completed form. The requisite documents needed to be enclosed along with the form are a certificate from the Institution concerned testifying the length of service (wherever required), an attested photocopy of the Eligibility Qualification Certificates/mark sheets and one set of published papers, monographs, articles and books if any.
Another set of documents required to be attached with the form is the outline of the scheme of research intended for the thesis (Research Proposal) of about 10 to 12 pages. This research proposal should consist of (a) Title, (b) Statement of the problem and the background information on the subject, (c) A set of research questions along with Hypothesis & Methodology and (d) A Research Design containing chapters. The duly filled application form along with the DD and research proposal has to be sent to the “Registrar, NLSIU, Nagarbhavi, P.B.No:7201, Bangalore-560072” latest by April 23, 2011.
