Osmania University PhD Eligibility Test 2011

Osmania University, Hyderabad, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) eligibility test 2011. The test is being conducted by the university in order to select eligible candidates for admission into the PhD course, to be offered in the following faculties, in the session 2011.

  • Faculty of Commerce
  • Faculty of Management
  • Faculty of Science
  • Faculty of Oriental Languages
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Technology
  • Faculty of Pharmacy
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Law
Note: Candidates with M Phil (through regular mode) / UGC-JRF / CSIR-UGC NET / ICMR & ICAR Research Fellowship Tests / SLET (conducted by AP) need not apply for PhD eligibility test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form along with ICR summary sheet and information brochure from the University Press, OU Campus, Hyderabad, on payment of Rs 100 in cash from November 10, 2011 onwards. Candidates can also download the same from the University's official website: www.osmania.ac.in. The duly filled in application form, along with ICR sheet and other necessary enclosure documents (detailed list given on the website), should be sent to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Near University Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad - 7, latest by the last dates mentioned below. For any further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the University's aforementioned official website.
