Panjab University, Chandigarh, has published the second counseling schedule for admission into Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course, offered in the ensuing session 2011.
The University has informed that a few seats in MCA 1st Year Course are lying vacant at various locations i.e. Department of Computer Science & Application (DCSA), P.U. Chandigarh; Regional Centre, Muktsar and Hoshiarpur for the session 2011-12. Those students, who have submitted the admission forms, however, were not able to produce their result, may submit the same by August 18, 2011 upto 4.00 pm in the office of the department of DCSA, P.U. Chandigarh.
The 2nd admission schedule for admission to MCA 1st Year for the session 2011-12 will be based on the O-CET-2011. The admission schedule for the same will be held in the Auditorium of the Dept. of Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh as under:-

The University will not send any separate interview/counselling letters. Candidates shall be called for the counselling on the basis of merit list prepared by the University as per guidelines given in the prospectus. If a candidate is late for counselling, he/she shall be offered only the seats available at the time he/she presents himself/herself on the day of counselling. No waiting list shall be prepared.
Moreover, candidates are advised to bring all the documents/certificates in original along with original Entrance Result Card of OCET alongwith the fee on the date of counselling. Candidates are advised to frequently visit the University’s official website www.puchd.ac.in for important announcements, Dr. Indu Chhabra, chairperson of the department informed.
