Bangalore: The PUC & SSLC results 2011 of Karnataka is likely to be declared by May 2nd week. Primary and secondary education minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri on Saturday has announced that though the specific dates have not yet been decided on, however, the results will be out by mid-May.
As per information issued by the department of PU education, the valuation of all answer scripts has accomplished on April 29, 2011.This year, around 6.24 lakh students appeared for the PU examinations.
Furthermore, Venkateshaiah D, Director, Exams, said that the SSLC evaluation of first language papers is still on and expected to get over by May 2, 2011. He said that the rest of the evaluation is over, including the Hindi re-exam. He informed that as many as 8.7 lakh students appeared for the crucial SSLC examinations in April. Moreover, Venkateshaiah had earlier announced that the SSLC results would be announced by May 15.
