Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL), functioning under IIT Kharagpur, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into LLB (Bachelor of Law) (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law, a six semester three year full time residential programme, constituting the norms of Bar Council of India. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the All India Written Test, scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below, followed by Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI), to be conducted by the Institute.
Note: Candidates who have appeared for LSAT-India 2012 or have valid LSAT scores are exempted from the All India Written Test. However, they have to appear for the GD/PI session on basis of their percentile scores in LSAT-India. How to Apply
Interested candidates can register online by visiting the RGSOIPL’s official website: http://iitkgp.ac.in/topfiles/law.php or logging onto the direct link: http://erp.iitkgp.ernet.in/LLBApplications/Login.jsp (from January 1, 2012 onwards). Candidates can make the payment in the form of Demand Draft of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/PD candidates), drawn in favor of ‘Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur’ on any Nationalized Bank payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal.
Candidates must possess a valid E-mail ID and log in with the same to fill the online application form along with all necessary information (details available on the website). After applying online, one must take the print out of the auto generated PDF application form and send it, along with the demand draft and other requisite enclosures (details given on the website), in an envelope to The Dean, Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur - 721302, by speed post latest by April 2, 2012.
