Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following PG (postgraduate) courses, offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-12. M Tech admissions in the University shall be done on the basis of VALID GATE SCORE plus interview marks. The admission to all PG programmes other than M Tech/MBA/MBA (BE) will be carried out on the basis of Entrance Test followed by Personal Interview.

How to apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form and prospectus against a cash payment of Rs 1015 [for M Tech/MBA/MBA (BE) courses] and Rs 315 (for M Sc/MA courses) from various branches of Jammu & Kashmir Bank (list of designated branches of bank is given on the University's website:http://smvdu.net.in/). The application forms can also be downloaded from the abovementioned official website of the university and the application fee of Rs 1050 & Rs 350 respectively (Rs 50 towards postage and handling charges for dispatch of Prospectus) should be sent in the form of DD drawn in favour of Registrar, SMVDU, payable at Jammu/Katra along with the downloaded form.
The duly filled in application form along with the DD (in case of downloaded forms) and requisite documents (given on the website) should be submitted in person or through post to Public Relations Office, 15C, 2nd Extension, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu- 180004 or SMVDU campus, Sub Post Office- 182320, Katra (J&K) latest by July 11, 2011.
