SSC Announces CHSL 2011 Exam

Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Delhi, has issued notification for registration for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) (10+2) exam 2011 for the recruitment of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerks. The commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination which will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test.

How to apply
Interested candidates may send/submit their application in the prescribed format to the concerned regional office of SSC (as mentioned in the SSC website: http://ssc.nic.in/). One can also apply online by logging on to the SSC online portal: http://ssconline.nic.in/ (till September 14, 2011). Candidates submitting their application online need to retain the system generated registration number further correspondence with the commission. The application fee is Rs 100 which is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
Paying application fee:
  • For online applications, the fee should be paid only through State Bank of India challan or using on-line payment facility of State Bank of India.
  • For offline applications, the fee should be paid by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)only.
The duly filled in application form (offline & online both) must be submitted in the regional centers latest by the last date mentioned below. For detailed information about application and registration procedures candidates are requested to visit the below given direct link:

Note: For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad the last date of submission is September 23, 2011.
