How to apply
Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the University’s official website: http://www.tanuvas.tn.nic.in/. The registration fee is Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST candidates) which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, TANUVAS, Chennai-51 payable at Chennai. The duly filled in application form along with the DD and requisite enclosure documents (list given in the website) should be sent to the Office of the Chairman, Admission Committee (PG), Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-600 051 latest by August 8, 2011. For more details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedures candidates are requested to visit the University’s aforementioned official website.

- Separate application for M V Sc / M F Sc / PhD and M Phi (Biotechnology) M Phil in climate change and Fisheries, M Tech Food Processing Technology, M Sc Bioinformatics, M Sc Biostatistics / PG Diploma in Bioinformatics, Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosis, Companion Animal Practice, Wild Animal Disease Management, Fish Quality Management, and Business Management in Animal, Fisheries Sciences (Part Time- Evening Course).
- No entrance examination for Postgraduate diploma courses (Online / Distance Mode). However, candidates will be selected based on their marks obtained in the Bachelor’s degree and experience, if the application is more then number of seat.
